Job summary

Stord, The Consumer Experience Company, is seeking a Director of Decision Science to own the end-to-end model lifecycle and build a full-stack analytics function. You will design production-ready models for delivery and routing, while shaping the AI-native analytics strategy and agentic AI adoption.

You will lead a small team, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure model outputs translate into real business decisions across commerce and fulfillment platforms.

Qualifications

• Practitioner-level machine learning: design, build, and evaluate models end-to-end.
• Expertise in time-series forecasting and segmentation.
• Strong experimentation design and causal inference skills.
• Experience with GCP/BigQuery and modern ML tooling (dbt, Vertex AI).

Responsibilities

• Design and productionize models for delivery prediction, routing, and demand forecasting from end to end.
• Build a self-serve experimentation platform for the business to use independently.
• Lead advanced analytics, segmentation, and cohort analyses to inform decisions.
• Partner with AI leadership to integrate model outputs into AI-native products and scale analytics with agentic AI.
• Translate model outputs into actionable workflows that drive decisions.
• Hire and develop a high-performing Decision Science team as a hands-on leader.
