Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a senior corporate development professional to lead and expand investor relations and strategic initiatives across consumer electronics and digital commerce. The role focuses on agentic AI systems, personalized commerce, and monetization models to accelerate growth and value creation.

You will collaborate with Commercial, Digital, Product, Data, and Technology teams to assess build/buy/partner decisions, shape investment theses, and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in corporate development, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or strategy consulting.
• Proven track record in M&A, partnerships, and venture investments within consumer technology or digital business models.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce, digital retail ecosystems, and agentic AI-driven commerce.

Responsibilities

• Monitor trends in consumer electronics, digital commerce, agentic AI, and platform-based models.
• Identify and shape inorganic growth opportunities including M&A, partnerships, and venture investments.
• Develop investment theses and target company lists aligned with commercial/digital strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate build/buy/partner decisions.
• Lead deal teams through screening, due diligence, and negotiation.
• Present insights to senior leadership and investment committees.
