Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead and oversee all aspects of the supply chain for multiple government programs from Mojave, CA. You will manage procurement, supplier relations, shipping/receiving and inventory control while guiding cross-state teams and ensuring compliance with ITAR/EAR and AS9100.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 10+ years in supply chain management.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role with aerospace supply chain knowledge.
• Proven ERP/MRP experience and analytics tool proficiency.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier risk.
• Oversee sourcing for direct and indirect materials.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, export controls, and policies.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery.
• Support demand planning and production scheduling.
• Oversee inbound/outbound logistics and distribution networks.
• Identify and implement Lean, Six Sigma process improvements.
