Job summary

Morningstar is seeking a Director of Advisor Practice Management to lead development and delivery of advisor consulting and practice management strategy. This role acts as a trusted consultant to financial advisors and partners with the distribution organization to create scalable programs and coaching frameworks addressing growth, staffing, client acquisition, and retention.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in wealth management, asset management, advisor consulting, or practice management.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CFP and/or CIMA preferred; Series 7 + 66 licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted practice management consultant to top advisor relationships.
• Conduct consultations, workshops, and coaching sessions with advisors and enterprise partners.
• Help advisors improve growth, productivity, client experience, and operational effectiveness.
• Develop and share frameworks, tools, and advisor-facing resources.
