Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Regional Administrative Director for Heart and Vascular, responsible for setting vision and direction for clinical care across the West Michigan market. The role oversees service lines, multi-campus operations, and collaboration with external partners to drive safe, efficient and patient-centered care.

Accountable for strategic planning, financial stewardship and HR management, with a focus on growth, quality and accountability within a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in nursing, healthcare admin, business admin or related field.
• Progressive management/leadership experience in healthcare environment.
• Nursing or clinical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads service line and areas of responsibility across multiple campuses, including external to the company; responsible for meeting objectives and deliverables to multiple senior leadership teams and governance structures.
• Develops, implements and administers the service line strategic business and financial plans in accordance with organizational strategic plan, integrating them into the daily program operations. Documents, communicates and revises plans annually to act as a guide for the entire service line.
• Provides operations & / or optimization leadership focus; Multiple departments / specialties or division; May provide leadership & direction through managers or senior managers.
• Accountable for ensuring organizational mission, values & goals are being carried out within a matrixed organization.
• Develops, implements, & administers the service line strategic business & financial plans in accordance with organizational strategic plan, integrating them into the daily program operations. Documents, communicates & revises plans annually to act as a guide for the entire service line.
• Develops & implements systems to ensure quality, efficiency, & cost-effective operations which support & achieve goals & objectives of the clinical service lines assigned. Works in partnership with key stakeholders, including members of the medical staff & local/community agencies to achieve desired clinical, financial, & people outcomes for patients, & staff; including representing assigned service lines with various local agencies & organizations. Along with physicians, identifies changes needed within department & implements, manages, & evaluates the change process.
