Job summary

Charter Communications, operating through Spectrum Reach, seeks an Advertising Sales Director to lead local sales teams, develop and implement plans to drive revenue, and collaborate with internal teams and leadership. You will hire, supervise, and train Sales Managers and teams to build high-performing groups.

You will cultivate client relationships, pursue opportunities with agencies, and mentor staff in a fast-changing digital advertising landscape, ensuring excellent service and growth

• Experience: Media sales management (5+ years), management/leadership experience (4+ years), experience working with major ad agencies
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Skills: Communication, leadership, negotiation, strategy, collaboration
• Abilities: Relationship building, sales lead conversion, managing deadlines and priorities, developing new business opportunities, knowledge of sales reporting and systems
• Travel Abilities: Travel/client trips may be required

As Advertising Sales Director, you serve as an influential leader who oversees the management of the local sales teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and sales plans that drive revenue generation. Collaboration is the core of your work as you will work cross-functionally with a variety of internal teams and sales leadership, along with hiring, supervising, motivating, and training Sales Managers and teams.
