This is your chance to be part of an in-house Architecture, Design & Construction team that delivers exceptional properties that delight our guests, reward our partners, and reflect the unique cultures of their geographical locations! As a Director on the AD&C Full Service team reporting to the Senior Director of AD&C Full Service Project Management, you will work on Hilton's Full Service portfolio, which includes Signia Hilton, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and DoubleTree by Hilton, Embassy Suites by Hilton, and Apartments Collection by Hilton, providing project management for the design and construction of new development, conversions, adaptive reuse, room addition, and brand change projects in North America.

What you'll do during a typical day:
  • Provide strategic technical guidance and services and enforce design and construction standards and best practices with owners while also building trusted relationships with key ownership groups and stakeholders.

  • Review site plans for proposed new hotels, including complex projects, as part of the franchise approval process to evaluate site feasibility and confirm the site can support the proposed hotel program in accordance with Hilton standards.

  • Provide hotel programming guidance and feasibility analysis for potential development projects, evaluating program requirements, space allocations, functional relationships, and direct and indirect adjacencies to help ensure proposed hotels are operationally sound, efficient, and aligned with brand and project objectives.

  • Review construction documents for hotels (new development, adaptive reuse, conversions, room additions, and brand changes) to ensure the proposed project follows Hilton requirements.

  • Conduct on-site construction inspections for each hotel to address and identify non-complying issues.

How you'll collaborate with others:
  • Build and manage relationships with ownership groups, consultants, and key cross-functional partners.

  • Propose revisions of AD&C documents to standards and brand design teams.

  • Collaborate with other Hilton functions, including Development, Brands, Design, Engineering Support, Food & Beverage, Spa and Fitness, Brand Opening Teams, Brand Performance Support, and Quality Assurance, leveraging expertise to influence decisions and support Hilton priorities.

Projects you'll take ownership of:
  • Review architectural and engineering plans for complex Hilton managed and franchise projects, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction submittals, and shop drawings.

  • Provide forecasted construction start and hotel opening dates as well as key risks and project status to senior leadership.

  • Resolve issues immediately with the hotel owner/franchisee regarding deficiencies or non-compliance with brand standards or with PIP scope.

What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design, or Construction related field.

  • Travel up to 50%

It would be useful if you have:
  • Professional licensure or certifications such as Registered Architect (RA), Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM). Design, construction or renovation experience in hospitality, particularly full-service branded hotels

  • Experience with Bluebeam
