Job summary

Allianz Life is seeking a Director, Managing Actuary to provide strategic guidance across Actuarial Modeling and Application Development. You will oversee financial cash flow models for IFRS and statutory reporting, and lead modernization efforts with AI/ML to optimize actuarial processes.

Collaboration with senior management is essential. You will drive technological advancement, oversee teams of actuaries and tech professionals, and report to the AVP Actuary.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of actuarial experience with leadership exposure.
• FSA designation completed.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic initiatives for incorporating emerging technologies in Actuarial Modeling and Systems.
• Oversee IFRS/STAT reporting, cash flow and asset-liability management models.
• Guide and mentor actuaries and tech staff; drive modernization and AI adoption.
• Communicate impact of tech advances to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Leverage AI/ML for enhanced data analysis, predictive modeling and decision support.
