The Standard, Portland-based, seeks a Director and Actuary for the ALM & Capital Analytics team. You will lead the JFSA Economic Capital program and transform regulatory capital into strategic business management capability.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of actuarial experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience with JFSA regulations and economic capital governance, reporting & decision support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee economic capital governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead a team of economic capital professionals and develop technical/business expertise.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to interpret model results and support strategic decisions.
• Communicate results and insights to senior management, regulators, and Meiji Yasuda.
