Job Description: Director, Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead end-to-end accounting and reporting activities for multiple large, complex legal entities, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
2. Oversee consolidations and financial reporting to deliver accurate and timely financial information and insights.
3. Conduct complex research and analysis to support senior management with financial performance insights and accounting issues.
4. Serve as an advisor to leaders, delivering presentations and recommendations to senior management, regulators, and the board.
5. Guide and develop junior analysts, ensuring performance metrics are met across processes and entities.
6. Manage advanced accounting activities, including complex ledger transactions, audits, SOX compliance, and process improvements.
7. Provide expert advice on accounting and financial reporting, utilizing professional judgment and experience.
8. Collaborate with regional/global leaders on process improvements and training materials.
9. Support statutory and regulatory requirements for special projects and continuous improvements.
10. Design and implement new reporting policies, procedures, and reports for effective financial management.
11. Manage interactions between legal, regulatory, and cross-country requirements based on extensive experience.
12. Identify risks proactively and develop mitigation strategies, providing leadership on risk management.
13. Translate technical accounting information for non-technical audiences, including the board and regulators.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; accounting concentration preferred.
• MBA or CPA/CA certification preferred.
• 12-15 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP, accounting concepts, and advanced reporting techniques.
