Senior Analyst, Marketing Business Intelligence (Contract Insights) – AbbVie US LLC, Irvine, CA

Partner with stakeholders to answer analytical questions critical to the success of our teams and customers. Design innovative analytic approaches to test hypotheses, extract actionable insights by identifying patterns in structured and unstructured data, and develop recommendations to drive business performance.

Be instrumental in leading the use of analytics as a critical value driver and source of competitive advantage across our organization. Apply advanced analytics techniques (core statistical modeling, data visualization, data mining) to analyze large-scale, high-dimensional data and extract actionable insights.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the analytic needs of our largest customers and provide accurate, actionable analysis to support their critical business decisions. Communicate analysis details and business implications to shape team thinking. Develop dashboards to enable visibility into business performance. Work with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and timeliness for analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Business Intelligence/Analytics, or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years of experience in driving business decisions through data-driven analyses, including:
3. Deciphering and generating complex SQL queries using window functions, CTEs, and aggregate functions.
4. Generating business insights using Tableau or Power BI.
5. Mining, validating, and structuring disparate datasets within the big data ecosystem.
6. Applying statistical analyses, experiment design, regression, and modeling to business problems.
7. Translating data results into non-technical formats for presentations to stakeholders.
