Lupin has a significant generic pipeline and a branded focus on women’s health. Our first Research and Development facility in the US is located in Coral Springs, Florida, focusing on generic and branded orally inhaled and nasal drug products. Somerset, New Jersey, hosts one of Fifteen global commercial manufacturing sites and the only commercial manufacturing facility in the United States for Lupin, along with additional Research and Development teams. Responsibilities

Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President, Market Access & Trade, the Director, Access & Contracting Management will be a key member of the Lupin Brand business. This role involves assessing payer and GPO customer opportunities that are strategic to Lupin and providing insights into customer decision-making. It requires an understanding of MCOs and PBMs across all segments: Commercial, Medicaid-FFS/Managed Medicaid. The position will involve close coordination with internal departments including Finance, Contract Analytics & Distribution, Legal, Trade and Distribution, and Commercial Operations. Additionally, the role will require fostering relationships with, educating, and influencing organized customer stakeholders including payers, health systems, and GPOs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute market access strategies by building strong customer relationships and securing formulary status, favorable medical policies, and coverage for Lupin products within targeted payer channels.
  • Adhere to Lupin's contracting strategy, prepare business cases for contracts, conduct ROI assessments and scenario planning, and ensure contract compliance and data management for all contracted accounts.
  • Create and maintain an account dashboard with current profile information, coverage policies, formulary management, customer interactions, and key marketplace intelligence.
  • Proactively share access and relevant pricing information with internal stakeholders.
  • Support Lupin’s mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy, while adhering to the Corporate Compliance Program and all regulatory and company policies.
Qualifications

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of Market Access experience
  • Understanding of Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Federal payer segments
  • Knowledge of pharmacy vs. medical reimbursement methodologies, pricing/reimbursement decision processes, and current pricing issues
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and proven achievement of market access goals
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on both long-term business growth and immediate results
  • High ethics, integrity, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication skills with executive presence
  • Customer-facing experience with marketing and sales skills
  • Ability to travel at least 25%

Preferred Experience:

  • Pricing & Contracting within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Payer & GPO account management
  • Experience with new product launches and pre-commercialization
  • Established relationships with hospital and specialty GPOs, health plans
  • Knowledge in therapeutic areas like Respiratory, Ophthalmology, and Neurology
