Job summary

Dartmouth College invites applications for the Director of Academic and Student Affairs to oversee administrative operations for the TDI PhD in Health Policy and Clinical Practice. This hybrid, part-time role coordinates recruitment, onboarding, student engagement, and career development within the PhD program.

The Director will lead PRAISE NIH T32 activities, collaborate with the PhD Program Director(s) and Co-Director, and partner with internal schools and external sponsors to advance student

Qualifications

• Masters or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of educational programming, graduate student affairs, and/or project management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, remain calm under pressure, and adapt positively to change.
• Ability to build effective relationships within Geisel, across Dartmouth schools, and with external partners including recruiters and corporate sponsors.
• Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage administrative and operational aspects of the TDI PhD in Health Policy and Clinical Practice.
• Lead recruitment, admissions support, enrollment, and onboarding for the TDI PhD program.
• Support the student experience, including engagement with faculty, alumni, and career development.
• Serve as administrative lead for the PRAISE NIH T32 training program.
• Collaborate with PhD Program Director(s) and Co-Director for faculty oversight.
