Job summary

Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Senior Academic Partnerships Director to expand adoption of the Waveband EEG platform across academic labs and grant-funded research programs. This remote role, reporting to the President of Life Sciences, will cultivate relationships with PI’s, core facilities, research consortia, and grant administrators while guiding proposals from development through execution.

Qualifications

Experience in academic partnerships and alliance management.
Familiarity with grant funding environments (NIH, NSF, foundation grants).
Ability to translate science into actionable program strategies.

Responsibilities

Build and manage relationships with PIs, academic medical centers, core facilities, and research consortia.
Partner with PIs during proposal development to position Beacon’s platform for grant-funded studies.
Understand and navigate US academic grant funding cycles and mechanisms (R01, R21, U01, SBIR/STTR).
Grow and steward relationships with core facilities and consortia for adoption of Beacon’s platform.
Own pipeline generation, negotiations, and closing for academic and grant-funded opportunities.
