Responsibilities & Requirements Provides a focused, leadership presence in the Behavioral Health Patient Care Operations Division of Kettering Health Network and enhances the coordination and promotion of services provided. The Director is accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law. Utilizing organizational resources, the Director acts as a patient and staff advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation and participation in quality performance improvement activities. The delivery of care at Kettering Behavioral Medicine Center (KBMC) reflects the philosophies, missions, vision and values of the organization and nursing department. Develops strategies that support the strategic goals of behavioral health services across KHN Network. Facilitates quality and safety compliance with state, federal and regulatory standards Overall responsibility for Kettering Health Behavioral Medical Center on a twenty-four hour/7-day a week basis, an system wide IOP program, Behavioral Health Assessment Team (BHAT), Kettering Behavioral Professional Group (KBPG), and KH BH Consult Support Services, which includes:
Requirements Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in behavioral health field and a master’s degree in Health Care Administration or Nursing is required. Consideration will be given to candidates completing degree requirement. A minimum of five (5) years of progressive supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership and management skills.
