Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Three to five years of HDD equipment experience in underground utility or pipeline construction.
• Certifications in HDD operation, safety, and utility locating are highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on mechanical aptitude.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Operate HDD Drills (Vermeer and/or Ditch Witch) to drill and install underground gas lines.
• Place, remove or maintain underground utilities as directed.
• Participate in manual labor tasks as required on project.
• Secure work sites, equipment and materials at shift end.
• Ensure compliance with company safety protocols.
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Report issues to Foreman or Supervisor.
• Prepare sites to optimize construction work procedures.
