Job summary

Southeast Connections, LLC is seeking a Directional Drill operator to perform HDD drilling and installation of underground gas lines across job sites. The role covers heavy manual tasks, safety compliance, and on-site coordination, with a focus on efficient project execution in metro areas.

The position requires 3–5 years of HDD equipment experience in underground utilities or pipeline projects, plus HDD operation certifications and safety training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of HDD equipment operation experience.
• Prefer experience in natural gas/pipeline construction.
• Certifications in HDD operation and safety training are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate HDD drills to install underground gas lines.
• Carry, install, and maintain underground utilities per project.
• Assist with manual labor on site.
• Ensure site safety and compliance with procedures.
• Prepare sites to optimize construction procedures.
• Report safety incidents to Foreman.
• Secure work sites and protect public safety.
