A utility construction company in Richmond, VA is hiring Directional Drill Operators/Locators. This role involves operating directional bore equipment and assisting supervisors in a safety-first work environment. Ideal candidates should possess knowledge of underground utility installations and hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Qualifications

Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring Directional Drill Operators / Locators for our Richmond, VA operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate directional bore equipment for underground utility construction
• Assist foreman and/or supervisors with all duties
• Operate trenchers, plows, backhoes, bobcats, tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws when needed
• Work in the field with the crews completing work

Requirements & Qualifications

• Holding a valid and current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is highly preferred
• Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing)
• Must have previous knowledge and experience of underground utility installations
• Ideal candidates will have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow job specifications and orders
• Ability to communicate with teammates
• Willingness to work and follow directions
