Team Fishel, the Best Choice in Utility Construction, is hiring Directional Drill Operators / Locators for our Richmond, VA operation. We offer training and a clear career path with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities include operating directional bore equipment, assisting foremen, and working with crews in the field. Candidates should be able to read blueprints and meet DOT standards; CDL is highly preferred and travel is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL is highly preferred.
• Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing).
• Experience with underground utility installations ideal.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow job specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate directional bore equipment for underground utilities.
• Assist foreman and supervisors with duties.
• Operate trenchers, plows, backhoes, bobcats, tampers, drills and saws as needed.
• Work in the field with the crews to complete projects.
