Job summary

Comlink Solutions in Minnesota is seeking an experienced directional drill locator operator for underground fiber projects. You will operate directional drills and other OSP construction equipment, safely and efficiently, while contributing to trenching, bore drilling, and pulling fiber optic cabling.

Qualifications include 2+ years in directional drilling, a valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days, and OSHA 10 preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as directional drill operator.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Commercial driver's license Class A or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to read instructions and take directions verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements and pass background and drug tests.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate directional boring drills and other construction equipment.
• Prepare construction sites for trenching, bore drilling, or plowing.
• Safely load and unload construction equipment and materials.
• Perform locating work for the drill or vacuum operations.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and complete required safety training.
