MasTec, Inc. is looking for a Directional Drill Operator/Locator in Florida. In this role, you will support directional drilling for the installation of underground conduit and fiber optic cable. You will collaborate with the Drill Locator, ensuring the safety of the public while delivering top-quality work.

The ideal candidate has strong utility drilling experience, valid CDL, and a desire to impact the local community positively. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $28 to $32 per hour along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of utility directional drilling experience in an urban environment.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT med card.
• Ability to complete work with a high level of quality.

Responsibilities

• Support directional drilling for underground conduit and fiber optic cable.
• Operate horizontal directional bore in collaboration with the Drill Locator.
• Ensure the safety of the public and other underground utility facilities.
