CableCom, LLC is seeking a Directional Drill Operator in Snohomish, WA to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. This full-time (W2) role offers weekly pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include determining bore paths, safely operating drill equipment, potholing utilities, and maintaining bore schedules while performing in all weather conditions. Requires 18+, US work authorization, HS diploma or GED, and a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or

Qualifications

• Must have authorization to work in the United States for CableCom, LLC.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment, capabilities, limitations, and setup/design processes.
• Routinely able to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 55+ pounds.

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-Time (W2)

Pay Range: $25-$32/hr+ (Negotiable Upon Skill Level)

What You’ll Do

• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path
• Utilize "Mud" mixing systems
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it
• Experience with drilling equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and drill setup and design processes

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Directional Drill Operator is $25.00 - $32.00.
