TelCom Construction, LLC is hiring a Telecom Drill Bores Operator in Omaha, NE. You will operate drill equipment to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure, requiring a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.

The role includes site setup, safe equipment operation, bore path verification, mud mixing, and maintaining a bore schedule, with duties in all weather and potential for additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site setup, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path
• Utilize “Mud” mixing systems
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement
• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Experience with drilling equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and drill setup and design processes

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
