Job summary

Booking Holdings is seeking a Direct Tax Manager for the B2B unit to lead global direct tax advisory projects and build scalable tax solutions. You will work across Product, Commercial, Legal, and IT teams, owning end-to-end tax initiatives from scoping to implementation.

The role requires 8+ years in direct tax, strong English communication, and ERP system experience; travel/e-commerce exposure is a plus. Hybrid work model with two days in-office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Tax Economics/Law, Accounting, Finance; grad degree in taxation is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of direct tax experience in Big 4, top law firm, or major corporation.
• Solid knowledge of direct taxes in a global environment; regional experience is a plus.
• Leads medium/high complexity cross-functional tax projects with ownership.
• ERP systems experience is an asset for direct tax setup.
• E-commerce or travel industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess direct tax position and interpret business models.
• Oversee direct tax advisory projects from scoping to implementation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure tax compliance.
• Collaborate with external advisors on direct tax issues.
• Contribute to the long-term vision and growth of the tax team.
