Job summary

Assisted Independence, LLC in Indiana is seeking a Manager of Direct Supports to lead the delivery of direct supports to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. Qualifications

• 64.5.1 All Director of Direct Supports employees must adhere to the rules and regulations set forth in Indiana Administrative Code (IAC) 460-6.
• 64.5.2 All Director of Direct Supports employees must adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) and Bureau of Disability Services (BDS).
• 64.5.3 All Director of Direct Supports employees must abide by the requirements set forth by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) as well as participate in schedule accreditation surveys.

Responsibilities

• 64.5.4 All Director of Direct Supports employees shall be eligible to provide and oversee RHS, Day Habilitation (DHI), Respite care services (RSPO), Participant Assistance and Care (PAC), Transportation.
• 64.5.5 All Director of Direct Supports employees will assist individuals in self-care, self-direction, communication, mobility, ADLs, learning, independence, and other areas.
• 64.5.6 All Director of Direct Supports employees will assist Medicaid recipients meeting criteria such as SSI, aged, blind, disabled, and related programs.
• 64.5.7 All Director of Direct Supports employees will document Incident Reports with required fields and timely submission to appropriate portals and administrations.
• 64.5.8 Scheduling duties require a minimum of 35 hours per week and coordination of availability with Assisted Independence, LLC.
