Job summary

AID of Indiana is hiring Full Time Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes in Indiana. Training is provided and paid for, with shifts that may include transporting clients or accompanying them to community activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 2+ years experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
• CNA/HHA preferred but not required.
• Current Auto Insurance.
• Valid CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes.
• May transport a client or accompany them to activities in the community.
• Work in an assisted living residential home as part of the DSP role.

Full Time Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes.

Benefits

Full-Time Benefits include health, life, dental, and vision insurance as well as 401K Match. Referral Bonuses and Employee of the month ($100) and House of the month ($75 /person) Bonuses are offered to all staff. Shifts worked between Friday from 6pm- Sunday 11:59pm receive a $0.50 /hour bonus.

Training

All training and certification is provided and paid for by AID of Indiana. Training is paid.

Pay

$16.25/hr

Locations

We have offices in Fort Wayne, Muncie, and Kokomo, but provide services to individuals throughout Indiana. Available positions vary based on location. As a DSP you would be working in an assisted living residential home, but may be required to transport a client or go with them to an activity in the community.
