Job summary

MyPath is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to oversee direct care staff delivering services to adults with disabilities in residential settings, ensuring safety and quality of care. The role includes supervising, coaching and mentoring staff, and coordinating client activities and programming.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and supporting behavior redirection.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to and from programs and training classes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Successful caregiver background check, TB test and Health Screen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise caregiver staff with training, coaching and mentoring your team.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including physical assistance and personal cares.
• Redirect challenging behaviors to promote independence and quality of life.
• Assist with cooking and cleaning in the home.
• All other duties as assigned.
