Job summary

Mosaic in New Haven, CT is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to lead program operations and ensure regulatory compliance. You'll hire, train, and schedule staff, coordinate activities, and maintain detailed records for individuals served.

You will support individuals to engage in community activities, monitor safety, and implement behavior plans as needed. The schedule includes varied days, nights, weekends, and on-call responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and compassionate

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related field is required or preferred.
• One year of related field experience is preferred.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Medication administration certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Direct Support Supervisor to join our team!

As a Direct Support Supervisor, you'll coordinate and manage program operations to ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling staff, coordinating activities and appointments, and maintaining detailed records for the individuals served.

What you'll do:

• Facilitate the integration of individuals into the community by accompanying them to recreational and social activities
• Monitor the comfort and safety of individuals by ensuring the living environments and program activities are in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Intervene when aggressive and/or inappropriate behavior occurs to implement behavior plans and strategies
• Provide on-call support to staff during emergencies and locate staff to fill shifts when necessary

Schedule: Generally days hours Monday-Friday/some nights/some weekends/some on call responsibilities/flexibility required
