Job summary

Mosaic is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor in Rockford, IL. You will coordinate and manage program operations to ensure regulatory compliance, including hiring, training, scheduling staff, coordinating activities, and maintaining detailed records for individuals served.

Schedule: generally day hours Monday–Friday with some nights, some weekends, and on-call responsibilities. This role aligns with Mosaic's mission to support people with complex needs in living full lives.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct support or related field.
• Associate's Degree in related field.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Medication administration certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong attention to detail and service mindset.
• Ability to manage staff and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate community integration by accompanying individuals to recreational and social activities.
• Monitor safety and comfort, ensuring living environments meet safety and regulatory requirements.
• Intervene with behavior plans and strategies for challenging situations.
• Provide on-call staff support during emergencies and arrange shifts as needed.

As a Direct Support Supervisor, you'll coordinate and manage program operations to ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling staff, coordinating activities and appointments, and maintaining detailed records for the individuals served.

What you'll do:

• Facilitate the integration of individuals into the community by accompanying them to recreational and social activities
• Monitor the comfort and safety of individuals by ensuring the living environments and program activities are in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Intervene when aggressive and/or inappropriate behavior occurs to implement behavior plans and strategies
• Provide on-call support to staff during emergencies and locate staff to fill shifts when necessary

Schedule: Generally day hours Monday-Friday/some nights/some weekends/some on call responsibilities/flexibility required
