Job summary

Alpha Services Company is seeking Direct Support Staff to assist residents with cognitive disabilities in Rochester, MN and surrounding areas. Full-time and part-time positions are available with day, evening, and overnight shifts.

No prior experience required; paid training will be provided. Candidates must be 18+, empathetic, and able to communicate effectively; a valid driver's license is required. MN DHS background clearance is necessary.

You’ll be working with individuals with cognitive disabilities to help them live independently. You'll be able to help promote independence, healthy lifestyles, and overall well-being.

Full-time & part-time positions available.

Schedule: Day, Evening & Overnight Shifts.

Job Description: The Direct Support Staff is responsible for the monitoring and supervision needed to carry out the Activities of Daily Living for the residents they serve. The areas of their responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Documentation, Behavioral Intervention, Teaching of Daily Living Skills, Supervision, Social Interactions, Communication, Home Maintenance, Interpersonal Relationship Skills, and Transportation to appointments and outings.

No experience necessary – we will provide paid training.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Aged 18 and over.
• Enjoy helping others in a positive manner.
• Have empathy and active listening.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both a written and verbal manner.
• Have great teamwork skills.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• The successful candidate must be cleared by a MN DHS Background Study.
