Job summary

AHL Healthcare Group in Buffalo, MN is hiring Direct Support Professionals for part-time shifts in the At Home Living division. You will support adults with disabilities in a least-restrictive setting, assist with daily tasks, and accompany clients to appointments and activities. Multiple evening and overnight slots are available.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Pass a MN DHS Background Study
• Available to work every other weekend
• Current Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Clean Record
• Must be able to pass a MN DHS Background Check

Responsibilities

• Cooking and cleaning
• Medication administration & documentation
• Socializing with residents (playing games, watching movies, going for walks, bonfires, etc.)
• Going to appointments & outings with clients (shopping, movies, fishing, etc.)
• & Most importantly - Making a difference in the lives of others

About our Adult Foster Care division - At Home Living

We believe in our clients and their right to live in the least-restrictive environment. We also ensure that the homes they live in allow them to lead fulfilled lives while remaining safe and well-cared-for. All of our homes have 4 bedrooms each. Most of our clients can live independently, but need some help with certain tasks. A couple of our programs have additional cares involved so there is a higher starting wage in those programs. This is one of our largest divisions and we strive to hire caring, compassionate, and genuine staff who want to make a difference!
