Job summary

Danville Services is seeking Direct Support Staff (DSP) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living independently in their own homes and day programs. You will help with daily routines, teach life skills, and provide compassionate support to residents in a team-based setting.

No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Full-time (30+ hrs) or part-time positions available with morning, day, evening, overnight, and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
• Able to pass a background check
• Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting
• Observe and report any changes in individuals' behavior or health status
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Foster effective communication and build positive relationships with individuals and their families
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest quality of care
