Job summary

Chimes is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity and independence. The role offers meaningful, mission-driven work with paid training and ongoing professional development in a team‑focused environment.

You will provide compassionate hands-on support, follow individualized care plans, and help with daily living activities. Travel between residential and day programs may be required for some positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in disability services preferred (not required—we train!).
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license - driving record requirements: 3 years unsuspended with ≤3 points or 2 years unsuspended with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and other daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles will require travel and support from Residential to Day programs.
