Job summary

Paladin is seeking an attentive care assistant to support individuals with disabilities in learning daily living skills and maintaining independence. The role includes personal care, documentation, and adherence to health and safety standards.

You will provide 1:1 or small group training, assist with medications, and help transport participants to activities in community or home settings. Flexibility for varied hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic health and safety standards.
• Experience in personal care assistance is a plus.
• Valid driver's license (or PPC) with good driving record.
• Ability to coordinate activities and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with documentation and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attend to personal health care needs and assist individuals to increase independence.
• Provide 1:1 or small group training per individual plans.
• Distribute medications and assist with health-related tasks as needed.
• Maintain records and comply with agency policies and PHI handling.
• Transport participants to activities and manage safety.
• Follow behavior plans and support daily living activities.
