Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This Direct Support Professional role helps people grow, learn, and live well by building real relationships and supporting everyday activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork and time-management.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and engage in favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
