Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, seeks compassionate caregivers to empower individuals with developmental disabilities in community settings. Earn starting pay of $17.02/hour with on-demand pay and strong benefits for full-time staff.

You will support daily living activities, promote independence, and help participants engage with their communities while receiving mentorship and growth opportunities within Sevita.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or documented 5 years of caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• A compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Empower individuals to achieve personal and developmental goals.
• Build meaningful connections as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative and contribute ideas with support from leadership.
• Assist with daily living: meal prep, personal care, outings, and medication reminders.
• Help participants access communities, events, and activities.
