Job summary

Spectrum Community Services in Cheboygan, MI is hiring Direct Support Professionals to coordinate on-site active treatment in Community Living Services homes or private residences, helping clients with daily living activities.

The role supports cooking, cleaning, health, personal care and community integration, with training provided, including CPR/FA certification. Applicants must be 18+, have a Michigan driver's license, reliable transportation, and pass a detailed background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must provide two work references demonstrating good performance and attendance.
• Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Must have reliable and ongoing transportation.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting, medical clearance (TB test, drug screen) and MILTC screening.

About the role

Spectrum Community Services is hiring compassionate, honest, energetic Direct Support Professionals. This position is responsible for on-site coordination of active treatment in Community Living Services (CLS) homes or private residences, serving individuals with physical, cognitive, and/or behavioral disabilities. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to helping clients with cooking, cleaning, community integration, health, and personal care.

Experience working with people with disabilities (preferred but not required). We provide all required training, including CPR/FA certification.
