Job summary

Employment Resources, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Habilitation Training Specialist (HTS) to coach individuals to build independence and participate in community life.

You will teach real-world life skills, provide daily living support, and help clients connect with community activities. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a background check, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• 18+ and hold a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license + proof of insurance.
• Background check required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to certify with us).
• Independent but also a team player.

Responsibilities

• Teach real-world life skills that empower independence.
• Provide support in daily living (including personal care).
• Help people connect with their community, from shopping to events.
• Implement personalized goals (IPs) to help individuals thrive.
• Be a positive role model and mentor.
• Provide safe transportation to community activities (valid OK driver’s license & insurance).
