Job summary

At Peace Health Care Agency seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at home and in the community. You will provide person-centered care, encourage independence, and promote safety and dignity in every interaction.

The role involves supporting daily living activities, mobility, and implementing care plans, with a focus on preserving individual rights and confidentiality. In-person, part-time positions available.

Qualifications

• Experience with BSPs and home care practices.
• Ability to assist mobility and personal care needs.
• Understand rights and advocacy in care settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on support with daily living activities and mobility.
• Foster independence and community involvement for individuals with disabilities.
• Implement individualized care plans and behavioral strategies (BSP).
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment that protects rights and well‑being.
• Support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and diverse needs.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality in all interactions.
• Provide transportation and accompany to medical, therapy, and community appointments.
