Job summary

Opportunity Partners in Minnesota is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help adults with disabilities live in our group homes and participate in their communities. You will support individuals to increase independence and quality of life, with full-time, part-time, or on-call shifts.

Wages range from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience and group home. Schedules include weekdays, evenings, overnight, and weekends; we offer a supportive environment and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• A desire to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
• Work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote hobbies and recreational activities
• Assist with meal preparation/cooking, household chores, and personal cares
• Provide support with medical appointments & medication administration
• Support & develop independent living skills
• Provide education & opportunities to problem solve with regards to safety skills, social interactions, and self-advocacy
