Opportunity Partners in Minnesota is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help adults with disabilities live independently in group homes and participate in their communities.

You will assist individuals with increasing their independence and quality of life, with full-time, part-time, or on-call schedules. Wage ranges from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience and group home.

Responsibilities

• Promote hobbies and recreational activities
• Assist with meal preparation/cooking, household chores, and personal cares
• Provide support with medical appointments & medication administration
• Support & develop independent living skills
• Provide education & opportunities to problem solve with regards to safety skills, social interactions, and self-advocacy
