Job summary

essc is seeking compassionate caregivers to support adults with developmental disabilities in licensed residential homes. You will help with daily living activities, plan outings, and foster independence under IPP/ISP goals.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal assistance (including dietary restrictions and G-tube feeding), medication monitoring, and safe transportation. You will document daily progress, attend trainings, and engage residents in activities to promote growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• DSP-I and DSP-II certification required or must be attained within first year of hire.
• CPR, CPI and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for residents as needed (eating, hygiene, bedtime).
• Assist with meals and dietary restrictions; assist with G-tube feeding if required.
• Administer and monitor medications.
• Care for and clean residential home; handle housekeeping and laundering.
• Carry out daily activities per IPP/ISP to develop living skills.
• Complete required reports and attend trainings.
• May transport individuals to appointments using a company vehicle.
• Participate in recreational activities with residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
