Job summary

KenCrest is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Western Montgomery County (Pottstown) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes caregiving, life coaching, and helping clients engage in the community.

The position offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with a special 6-month pilot program providing an enhanced rate of $18.00/hour. New hires receive two weeks of paid orientation, including trainings like CPR/First Aid and Medication

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a reliable driving record (3 years driving experience).
• Background checks and drug screening required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and life coaching to promote independence and community involvement.
• Assist with daily living activities: personal care, meals, medication administration, social outings, and shopping.
• Support communication and self-expression; complete housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
• Document incidents, behavioral data, seizure charts, and medical visit forms as required.
