Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Direct Support Professional Level 2 Certification, required.
• Valid Tennessee, Kentucky, or Alabama driver’s license.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and clear MVR.
• TB test within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Assist in meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Assist in household chores (vacuuming, dishes, floors, laundry).
• Assist with medications per policy.
• Assist with personal and self-care skills per ISP.
• Review ISP outcomes and implementation plans.
• Assist with obtaining money and shopping for items.
• Report medical, behavioral, or other concerns to the Residential Manager.
• Other duties as needed.
