Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Direct Support Professional Level 2 Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license (TN/KY/AL) and clear MVR.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and training completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary assistance in bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Assist in meal preparation and grocery shopping, offering appropriate choices.
• Help with household chores and general housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with medications per physician instructions per agency policy.
• Support individuals in ISP goals and daily living skills.
• Review ISP outcomes and implement plans.
• Assist with obtaining money for shopping and purchases.
• Report medical, behavioral, or other concerns to the Residential Manager and staff.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
