Job summary

Training and Evaluation Center of Hutchinson Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals to help individuals achieve personal dignity, respect, choice and opportunity. Under supervision, you will provide personal care, training, supervision and assessment according to PCSP and agency policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or Bronze Level, WORKready Certification.
• Preferred: One year of experience in the IDD field.

Responsibilities

• Provides care and reports progress on a daily basis per PCSP.
• Attend to the personal needs of clients (feeding, restroom, dressing, medication administration, first aid).
• Assist clients with meal planning, food purchases and meal preparation.
• Assist clients in maintaining a healthy living environment and safety.
• Assists with and/or monitors housekeeping tasks in client residences.
• Transportation of clients or arranging public transportation.
• Assist clients to develop social and communication skills and community integration.
• Participates as a member of the Client's Person-Centered Support Plan team.
