Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support participants with daily living activities and safety in a Maryland-based program. You will work under the Operations Director, completing tasks in line with DDA requirements and using agency systems for documentation.

Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience and a high school diploma, with CPR/First Aid and background checks required. Transportation and flexible hours are essential for community-based activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience with developmentally disabled participants or long-term care.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions and maintain compliance with DDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with activities of daily living.
• Perform support tasks delegated by Supervisor in compliance with Maryland DDA requirements.
• Assist with medication and medication reminders as needed.
• Ensure light housekeeping duties and chores are completed.
• Ensure safety of participant at all times.
• Utilize agency electronic systems for communication, progress notes, incident report filing.
• Report and document incidents within required timeframe.
• Check and respond to emails daily to maintain communication with program office.
• Driving and community interaction is required; attend events or activities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Operations Director.
