Verland in Uniontown, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the 2nd shift (3pm–11pm) to provide individualized care for residents with complex needs. This is a full-time role focusing on safety, well-being, and supportive daily living.

The position offers $19.25 per hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus, with comprehensive benefits and two weeks of paid training. No prior experience required; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to transport residents to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Background, physical and drug screening required.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Two weeks paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care for residents with multiple challenges.
• Encourage skill development through activities.
• Document observations and progress notes daily.
• Plan and participate in social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals, cleaning and laundry.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene and bathing.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
