Job summary

Verland is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Monaca, PA 15061 to provide exceptional care to residents with complex needs. This full-time, 40-hour-a-week role offers a wage of $19.25 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Shifts include 3pm-7am Fri, 3pm-11pm Sat, and 3pm-7am Sun.

Responsibilities include daily living support, documentation, meal assistance, transportation, and personal care. A HS diploma and valid driver’s license are required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Background, Physical, and Drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and ongoing support for residents with complex physical, medical, and intellectual challenges.
• Record observations and daily progress notes; implement and monitor support plans.
• Assist with meals and perform housekeeping and laundry duties in the house.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Bathe, dress, and assist with personal hygiene; support social and recreational activities.
