Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Oil City, PA. The role offers a base wage of $20 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

This full-time position supports residents with complex needs in a home setting and requires fostering independence through personalized care plans. Hours are 40 per week with two rotating schedules, including evening shifts. Training provided; comprehensive benefits after a probationary period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable means of transportation
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions
• Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening
• Experience is not required!

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and ongoing support for individuals with complex physical, medical and intellectual challenges.
• Assist with meals and perform cleaning and laundry duties in the house.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Bathe, dress, and assist clients with personal hygiene
• Implement individualized programs; record observations and daily progress notes.
